Happiness Homeowners’ Association, Inc. (HHOAI) Project
The ongoing housing project in the municipality located in Barangay Julio Ouano (9°28’05.6″N, 125°34’45.4″E, or 9.468212, 125.579280) is in the process of site development. The Happiness Homeowners’ Association, Inc. (HHOAI) with 143 project beneficiary members, has already been organized since 2019 and registered with the Housing and Land Use Regulatory Board (HLURB), Northern Mindanao Region, Cagayan de Oro City, on June 11, 2019 with its first president, Josefine B. Wines. A total of 20,841 square meters of land will be established soon with a loan agreement from the Social Housing Finance Corporation (SHFC). The HHOAI has organized its new officials in 2024, with Engr. Raul C. Micompal as the second elected president.
Neighborhood Assistance & Shelter Association (NASA) Project
Another housing project located in Sitio Buntalid, Barangay Ombong, was established with funding support from the National Housing Authority (NHA) and DSWD Housing Assistance, which was maintained by the Neighborhood Assistance & Shelter Association (NASA). The NASA has been registered with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and accredited to Sangguniang Bayan of the Alegria, Surigao del Norte, with SB Resolution No. 119 dated October 17, 2022. Currently, there are some 40 housing units on the NHA Alegria Resettlement Project site.
San Juan Homeowners Association (SJHOA)
The San Juan Homeowners Association (SJHOA) was once organized in Barangay San Juan, sometimes on January 14, 2000, with an existing membership of 28 and Mr. Eugene C. Monato as its president. The SJHOA was a DOLE-registered organization with registration number RWA-RO13-2009-01353 on January 4, 2008. According to its president, SJHOA is currently in the process of negotiating land acquisitions.
