The municipality has a total agriculture land of 2,277.07 hectares composed of major crops like rice, coconut, banana, among others as shown in the graph below.

Among the barangays with the largest rice land area are San Pedro, Alipao, San Juan, Poblacion and Pongtud.

The Office of the Municipal Agriculture (OMA) reported an average of 3.90 metrics tons average Yield per Hectare per Cropping.

According to the OMA, the municipality in 2022 has a total of 21,231 various livestock and poultry, of which majority are poultry particularly chicken and ducks. Swine is the highest among the livestock raised in the locality.

In 2022, OMA facilitated the engagement with Rural-Based Organizations in the municipality in providing relevant agriculture and fishery programs.

These RBOs are registered to the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) while the Cooperative organizations are registered to the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA).
