19 January 2024 │Alegria, Surigao del Norte – The Municipal Government of Alegria, SDN, took a significant step towards fostering tourism development with the collaboration of the Caraga State University Cabadbaran Campus (CSUCC) – College of Tourism and Hospitality Management.
The partnership marked the Milestone between MGO Alegria, SDN, and CSUCC through an Official Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) signing ceremony held on January 19, 2024 at the CSUCC campus, with LGU’s Program 𝙎𝙆𝘼𝙏𝙀 (𝘚𝘢𝘬𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘨 𝘒𝘢𝘭𝘢𝘮𝘣𝘶𝘢𝘯 𝘯𝘢𝘯 𝘈𝘭𝘦𝘨𝘳𝘪𝘢, 𝘴𝘢 𝘛𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘮𝘰 𝘌-𝘱𝘢𝘥𝘢𝘫𝘰𝘯).
The MOA signing ceremony witnessed the enthusiastic participation of Mayor Hon. Rene G. Esma, a staunch supporter of community initiatives. Joining him was SB Member Hon. Ryan T. Abarico, Chairperson of the Committee on Tourism and Culture & Arts, emphasizing the local government’s dedication to the cause. The Municipal Tourism Office Team, led by Ma’am Luniza P. Garrido, added further expertise and experience to the collaborative effort.
Representing CSUCC, the esteemed School’s President, Dr. Rolyn C. Daguil, graced the occasion, accompanied by the College of Tourism and Hotel Management (CTHM) Dean, Dr. Earl G. Niñofranco. Also, present were the College Coordinator and dedicated staff members, highlighting the unity and collective effort of the academic community.
