In line with the celebration of 54th  Adlaw nan Alegria and KABIBO Festival 2022, we’re looking for your best photograph promoting the Municipality of Alegria, Surigao del Norte. We invite photo enthusiast to join and enjoy taking the photos of events starting June 5-15, 2022.

MECHANICS:
  1. Theme: “PAGKABIBO  GAJUD SA ALEGRIA!” 
  2. Participants: OPEN to all RESIDENTS of Alegria, Surigao del Norte, open for all ages.
  3. Duration: June 10-15, 2022.
  4. One entry per participant only. 
  5. Deadline of Submission of entry: July 17, 2022 exactly 5:00 pm.
  6. No entries will be accepted beyond the deadline.
  7. Must be taken personally by the contestant. Should be an image /photo with a corresponding “photo title” and “photo caption”. The caption must indicate the events where the image was taken and must have an accurate description of what the photo is about. 
  8. No nudity – please keep photos family-friendly.
  9. The participant is responsible for securing before submission of the entry- a formal consent from concerned parties if the image contains any material or element that is not the participant’s property or if any person appears in the photo (i.e. subjects of the photo). The Alegria Municipal Tourism should not- in any way be held responsible for the contest participant’s inability to secure the necessary permission or consent for their submitted entries. 
  10. Winners will be announced here on the official website of the Municipality https://lgualegriasdn.gov.ph. and TourismAlegriaSDN Facebook Page.
  11. All entries submitted shall be considered property of Alegria Tourism Office and as such, further reserves the right whether or not to use the winning or non-winning photos. Accordingly, participants are also granting Alegria Tourism Office a perpetual, irrevocable, transferable and to use, reuse, publish, republish, reproduce and distribute contest pieces.

GUIDELINES:
  1. Created and taken by the contestant.
  2. It may be taken by any camera device as long as proper and quality photo resolution is used. 
  3. Should highlight the tourism event during the KABIBO FESTIVAL 2022 and 54th Adlaw nan Alegria Celebration as the subject. 
  4. Taken from the chosen tourism events of the municipality. Must be in high resolution. In a landscape orientation. Minimal enhancements are accepted. Taken from June 10-15, 2022.
  5. Maximum of 2 categories per contestant is allowed. 
  6. The picture should be submitted through [email protected] on its deadline (June 17, 2022)
PHOTOGRAPHS SHOULD NOT:
  1. Contain watermarks or any identifying mark.
  2. Violate person’s rights, including but not limited to copyright and privacy.
  3. Have layering and other post-processing enhancements are discouraged.
  4. Be previously submitted or won in any photography contest.
  5. Contain images of elected government officials.
CRITERIA FOR JUDGING:

From the top 10 finalist. The judges will choose the top 3 winners on June 24, 2022 with the following Criteria:
