08 June 2020 – The municipality of Alegria released recently the Executive Order No. 94 series of 2020 “An Order Implementing the Rules on Modified General Community Quarantine (MGCQ) in the Municipality of Alegria, Surigao del Norte” last June 03, 2020.

Minimum public health standards as prescribed by the DOH and such related protocols or guidelines issued by the appropriate government agencies for the GCQ shall be applied to the MGCQ and shall always be complied with.

All residents of the Municipality of Alegria are allowed to travel within the territorial jurisdiction of the Municipality of Alegria provided, however, that wearing of face masks are required when in public places.

Work in public and private offices shall be allowed to resume physical work in full capacity with alternative arrangement for persons who are sixty (60) years old and above, those with immunodeficiency, comorbidities, or other health risks, and pregnant women.

Work in government offices will be at full operation capacity in accordance with the relevant rules and regulations issued by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

Mass gathering such as but not limited to a movie screening, concerts, sporting events, and other entertainment activities, community assemblies, and non – essential work gatherings and non – essential work gatherings shall be allowed provided that participants shall be limited to fifty percent (50%) of the venue or seating capacity. Religious gatherings shall be allowed under such guidelines as may be declared through subsequent issuances of IATF.

Public Utility vehicles such as Multicabs and Trisicads are allowed to operate within the territory of Alegria provided they observe social/physical distancing provided however that trisicads coming from outside the province shall be refused entry within the Municipality of Alegria for operation purposes.

All public and private construction projects shall be allowed subject to strict compliance with the construction safety guidelines issued by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) for the implementation of infrastructure projects during the COVID 19 pandemic.

All business establishments are hereby allowed to operate or to undertake full operations except the following and/or under these conditions at a maximum of fifty percent (50%) of venue capacity.

The EO also specifies that the movement of people pursuant to PNP Memorandum dated June 1, 2020, on Guidelines on the Movement of People under GCQ and MGCQ a duly signed Travel Authority must be first secured prior to travel to another province or other region. Accordingly, the following requirement must be followed prior to the issuance of a Travel Authority. (JSN)
